Dr. Dawson grew up in Denver, Colorado. She completed her undergraduate studies in Biological Sciences at Harvard University then moved back to Denver to attend medical school at the University of Colorado. She returned to Harvard to complete her medical internship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Dawson then relocated to San Francisco for her dermatology residency at UCSF, where she served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Dawson is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Society for Pediatric Dermatology. She has authored multiple publications and presented at national meetings, with specific focus on acne vulgaris and skin cancer prevention. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and offers a broad range of services spanning medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. She speaks English and Spanish.
Dr. Dawson lives in San Francisco with her husband. In her spare time, she can be found running, hiking, making jewelry, and spending time with friends and family.
