BOTOX and DYSPORT

BOTOX and DYSPORT is the ideal cosmetic procedure. It is FDA approved, safe, easy, essentially pain free and may even make you feel more relaxed. We use BOTOX and DYSPORT primarily for the forehead and around the eyes. After a treatment session, the muscles stay quiet for about three months. BOTOX/DYSPORT is injected through the tiniest needle. The injections do not hurt, and many patients do not even use anesthetic cream. It takes about 3 to 10 days for the BOTOX/DYSPORT to work, so plan accordingly.

You may worry that BOTOX/DYSPORT will make you expressionless. This is simply not true. What matters is how much BOTOX is injected and where, and sometimes less is actually more! All injections at Presidio Dermatology are done by Dr. Kaymen, so you will be getting the very best.

The effects last about 3-4 months. Repeat injections are necessary if you like your results and want to maintain them. Once the BOTOX/DYSPORT wears off, you will simply find that you are back where you started. Keep in mind that BOTOX /DYSPORT cannot be injected during pregnancy or if you are nursing.

There are many “off label” uses for BOTOX/DYSPORT that we cannot discuss here, but will at your visit. We charge by the unit at Presidio Dermatology. Please call the office for the fees.
