BOTOX is almost the perfect cosmetic procedure. It is FDA approved, safe, easy, essentially pain free and can even make you feel more relaxed. There are many indications for BOTOX. The most common one is to soften wrinkles in the the area between the eyebrows and smooth out the forehead. BOTOX can also give a subtle lift to the eyebrows and can open up the eyes a bit, making crow’s feet look better. We treat both men and women.
BOTOX is injected through the tiniest needle we have. It takes about 3 to 10 days for the BOTOX to work, so plan accordingly. After a treatment session, the muscles stay quiet for three to four months.
You may worry that BOTOX will make you expressionless. This is simply not true. What matters is how much BOTOX is injected and where, and sometimes less is actually more! Our physicians do all injections at Presidio Dermatology so you can be sure you will be getting the very best.
Repeat injections are necessary if you like your results and want to maintain them. Keep in mind that BOTOX cannot be injected during pregnancy or if you are nursing.
