We are preferred providers for many PPO insurance carriers. These are United Healthcare, Blue Shield, Cigna, Blue Cross, Aetna, PHCS and Health Net. We are also a contracted Medicare provider. However, all of the above insurance carriers have many different types of plans within their network and we may not contracted with all of these subsidiary plans. Please call us to verify that we are indeed contracted with your particular plan. We will do everything we can to clear up any concerns you may have with your coverage before your visit.
It is very important that you bring your insurance card with you on your first appointment. For returning patients with any changes to your policy or coverage, please be sure to inform us and bring your updated card with you.If we cannot verify coverage and if you wish to be seen anyway, you will be held responsible for the cost of the visit at that time.
Payment for all cosmetic services including cosmetic consultations is required at the time of service. We accept all forms of credit cards.
Our goal at Presidio Dermatology is to be as flexible as possible in serving our patients. If at all possible please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you cannot make your appointment so that we can fit someone else in. For Monday patients, please call as early as you can the Friday before your appointment.
You will get a courtesy voicemail reminder of your appointment approximately two days prior to your appointment. Please make sure we have a good telephone number!
