Dr. Song is a board-certified dermatologist at Presidio Dermatology. She provides comprehensive and compassionate skin care to patients of all ages and skin types. Dr. Song believes the doctor-patient relationship is a partnership and wants to help patients achieve their individualized goals with regards to their skin.
Dr. Song grew up in Minnesota and graduated cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a double major in biochemistry and physiology. Subsequently, she worked as a research scientist at Yale University studying how our immune system develops long lasting memory. She then pursued a career in medicine and earned her medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where she was awarded the prestigious Dean’s Award for Overall Medical Excellence. Dr. Song completed her internship at Yale New Haven Hospital -Waterbury Hospital and her dermatology residency at UCSF.
Dr. Song is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has authored multiple medical book chapters, literature reviews and research articles, including on advanced technology in melanoma detection.
In her free time, Dr. Song loves traveling the world, camping, hiking and exploring the Bay Area with her husband and daughter.
