Hives

Hives can be very uncomfortable. If your lips, mouth or throat start to swell, you must go to an emergency room. Usually though hives start out of the blue with tremendous itching and areas of rash that migrate all over the body. Most of the time we actually never find the cause for the hives. Treatment is very helpful. You can try antihistamines first, but call to make an appointment, too. Lab work can sometimes be helpful and we can get that started for you.
