When you look in the mirror (that’s both women and men!) do you just want to erase that little bit of fullness under your chin? Boy, it really shows when you look at your profile too! Now there is a non-invasive way to do that!
We are thrilled to be able to offer Kybella. Kybella is a liquid made up of naturally occurring acids that break down fat cells. The liquid is injected into the area right under your chin and over time dissolves that pesky fat pad. Multiple sessions are often necessary. If you gain weight or have plastic surgery things may change, but the treatment when complete is designed to permanently improve the look of this area.
This is NOT a no down time procedure. You will be in the office about an hour. We will first apply topical numbing cream and then ice right before the injections. The injections themselves do not hurt much. You will start to get swollen immediately, and the swelling will last for several days. This is not swelling that is easy to cover up, and most folks will want to take a few days out of their schedules for Kybella.
At each session we can do one to three vials. Most people will get the best result with at least two sessions, one to two vials each session. Kybella is priced by the vial and the cost starts at $850.
